Pecos Moon Band Members- Bio
JD Davis & Pecos Moon is North Texas premier Neil Young tribute band .
Known for their tight, authentic delivery, they treat audiences to two distinct experiences in a single night:
The Acoustic Set: An intimate, dimly lit vibe focusing on Neil's heartfelt, folk-driven acoustic masterpieces like "Old Man," "Heart of Gold," and "Harvest Moon."
The Electric Set: A high-energy, heavy-groove rock set paying homage to Neil Young & Crazy Horse, cranking up the distortion for classics like "Rockin' in the Free World," "Cortez the Killer," and "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)."
The Band Lineup
The band consists of experienced Dallas-area musicians:
JD Davis – Lead Vocals & Guitar Lee Higgins – Lead Guitar & Vocals
Alan McDaniels – Bass Guitar Lee Malan – Drums Steve Cramer – Keyboards
They play heavily around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. You can regularly catch them performing at local classic rock and live music hubs, including:

The Balcony Club on January 26th. Pecos Moon- Neil Young Tribute
John Davis and the rest of the Pecos Moon guys put on another stellar performance at the Balcony Club last night!!! Go hear them - and it’s at 1970s admission prices. Special thanks to Marsha Mott for saving us these great seats. Michael Butler, Kathy A Butler and I had a great dinner and then had to circle around the Balcony parking lot a dozen times to find a spot. Thank goodness we didn’t give up and miss this great show.
